The Valley of the Sun Chapter is offering prints of a limited edition
poster done by nationally-known sports artist Steve Viota that features
Arizona State University legends Dan Devine, Frank Kush and Danny
White, with proceeds going to the Chapter's scholarship fund. Autographed
copies of the 18"x30" full-color print by the three Hall of Famers
and the artist are $100, while unsigned prints are $50. There is
also a special $175 offer that includes a three-year membership
and an autographed poster.
Devine had a 27-3-1 record at ASU before going on
to coach at Missouri, Green Bay and Notre Dame. His successor, Kush
was the Sun Devils' coach for 22 years when his teams won 76% of
their games. White led Kush-coached teams in 1971-73 to a 32-4 record
and three Fiesta Bowl wins before going on to play for the Dallas
Cowboys. He now is general manager and head coach of the Arizona
Rattlers in the Arena Football League.
